More bikepath garden thefts

Two more plants lifted from the gardens--a lavender plant and a poppy plant (total out of my pocket about $12). Also, last night someone came along (between 5 pm and 10 pm and cut about 60 poppies from the large patch that my gardening partner went to great lengths this summer to cultivate. Red, pink, yellow, and white poppies were cut; the orange were left. How bizarre. People have been loving those poppies--especially kids.

Please take pictures if you see anyone stealing plants or messing around in the gardens at odd hours. It's a violation of the entire community that enjoys these gardens each day.

Am ready to give up. Just can't deal with these petty thieves anymore.

Selling some dvds

So today's event didn't go as well as I had hoped. Some dvds are gone, but many remain. I blame the awesome weather.

So these are the ones that are still for sale. You can reserve them by emailing me, and we can arrange a price/time to pick them up. (Prices are generally $5 for a movie, $15 for a tv season. We can negotiate.) Tomorrow I'll bt putting this list on Craig's List.

Lawyer well-versed in neighbor disputes

I'm having some issues with my neighbors about use of a shared private way. I've been trying for several years to have a civil conversation with them about how we can best utilize our shared property so that we both can get the use we want out of it. However, they have become increasingly hostile toward me & it is getting to the point where it is difficult if not impossible for me to access my property, and damage has been done to both my house & my vehicle. I don't particularly want to bring this to court, but it's really getting intolerable, and I'm hoping that a lawyer might be able to provide some advice on the best way to handle this. The few real-estate lawyers I have contacted deal primarily with closings, and I think I need some one with direct experience in neighbor disputes.

Recommendations gladly accepted.

Summer cleaning Part 1

I started on some summer cleaning and I have five trash bags filled with women's clothing, shoes (size 10-11), cheap jewelry and hats. Dresses, shorts, pants, shirts, jackets etc. around size 8-10.
