I was in Zing! the other day (the potato pizza is odd. good, but odd). I was talking with the owner about the buffalo chicken pizza that they offered two weeks ago, which was AMAZING, and noted that they had recently joined twitter, according to a poster on the wall. We then got to talking about social media in general (*cough*groupon*cough*) and such.

(he thanked me, actually, for mentioning the groupon here; he says that with their location they were getting missed, but business has increased a lot since the groupon, and not just in groupon usage. He's going to do it again, for certain. I was really glad to hear how well that worked out for him).

Anyway, all that talk made me realize some of y'all might be interested in http://twitter.com/thespian/restaurants, which is a REALLY incomplete list I keep of Somerville/Cambridge/Medford restaurants and food places that tweet (with one or two further out things that I like).

If you know of others, do please send them to me there or here. There have been flash sales (and free cupcakes from Kick-Ass), Dave's Fresh Pasta is doing a great job of adding new foods as they come in, etc. Oh, and Qdoba is totally rocking it, with trivia, free food, flash sales, the whole shebang. And there's more. For a foodie and a bargain hunter it is good. You do not need a twitter account to read the list.

(tosci's may get pulled, though, as Gus is using it as his own twitter of late, which is fine and all, but not terribly relevant when I hit the list going, 'what deals are up tonight, what does Guru have as today's special?' etc.)
