anyone taken classes at artepicure?

they are today's groupon (yes, has my referral code), and as a groupon addict and total sucker for cooking classes, I'm bought one (I can change my mind if reviews are meh), but to be honest I'd never heard of them. I've taken several classes over at the Cambridge Culinary School and the Center for Adult Education, but their website seems to indicate that classes there would be quite a different beast.

(yes, I know they're out of Davis Square, but this is the only Somerville group that answers questions most of the time, especially on weekends)

In other foodie questions, the Farmer's Market is supposed to reopen on the 26th; does anyone know what vendors will be there this year? I really like the Arlington Market, but I work until 5 now and can't make it up there before closing, so I want to start getting to know the Davis one.

new cheap furniture store options? (other than ikea)

I'm getting kind of tired of having a barren living room so i'd like to fill it with comfy couches. I'm absolutely paranoid of bed bugs so I'd really prefer not to craiglist anything upholstered (although we'll buying as much of the rest of the stuff used) We checked out ikea but in the sub-500 price range for fullsized sofas there was nothing remotely comfortable. Bob's discount couldn't be further from the name.

I'm from PA and we have legions of factory direct/cheap furniture chains down there (The Dump, unclaimed freight, etc.) but up here...not so much? Anytime I search for factory direct or wholesale furniture near here I get the sketchiest websites. I'm willing to do southern NH if there's really nothing in MA as long as there's a place willing to deliver to Somerville for a somewhat reasonable rate. Any recs?

i need a tiny flamingo

this is possibly a silly question, but does anyone know where i can buy mini plastic flamingos? i have a, i don't know what to call it, but kind of a desk decoration kind of thing that's a little square of green foam, four plastic flamingos, and three pieces of plastic white picket fence, that you can arrange like a miniature lawn with miniature lawn flamingos on it. that's the kind of thing i mean. or if anyone's seen a small (maybe 5" or 6") plush flamingo in their travels, that would work too.

i went to newbury comics and urban outfitters in harvard square today - i just had this idea last night - but i have no idea where else to look. help?

(edit! i got the foam lawn and miniature flamingos as a white elephant holiday party gift, so i don't know where it came from.)
