$20 gets you a $40 giftcard at Sacco's/Flatbread.

I am all a flutter, actually. that rocks hard. And it's buy one for yourself and as many as you want for friends. You can use it repeatedly, which is good, because they are far too reasonably priced to spend $40 in one sitting on yourself. or it'd be like, 8 games of bowling.

If you haven't been there of late, I really really REALLY recommend it. The bowling was incredibly fun, and the food was very good. We went there with a big crowd from Theatre@First, during the Festival@First, and despite the fact we had a hugeous group, they were very good with the food and customer service. I've been suggesting it to people since then, but haven't gotten back, and now I'm totally heading for them. Often.

Really, I'm surprised the BuyWithMe person was able to keep from telling us what was up. I bet he had to poke himself with a pin or something.

(yes that has my referral #)

We are having a room open up on October 15th in our Somerville
apartment, between Teele Square and Tufts.

Who we are: Two males (a Nokia sysadmin who likes playing with swords
and theater equipment, and a Northeastern undergrad who likes playing
with insects and cameras) and one female (a Tufts doctoral student who
likes martial arts and tango).

We're very sociable, often hang out in common space, and hold regular
social gatherings (though not of the loud drunken sort). We are
interested in maintaining a strong household community, with open
communication channels and shared responsibility in terms of chores.
We do not currently have television in common space, and would like
to keep it that way.

As of October, the apartment will have been recently vacated by two
cats. We generaly like pets and would welcome the addition of one or
two small quiet animals, though we are also willing to work with
allergy constraints of a new roommate.

We are alternative-lifestyles and queer-friendly.

The apartment: The apartment is the upstairs unit in a two-family house
on Ossipee Road. Hardwood floors throughout. We have a front balcony
accessible through the living room window, a screened-in back porch
accessible through the kitchen, and access to the back yard in which we
are hoping to do some gardening.

The open room is 12'5"x15'7", and faces east. The closet is 5'x2'6".
Rent for the room is $650, plus utilities. The cats have not been permitted
into the room.

The landlady will be moving into the lower unit starting in September.

Hi folks, my pic-posting ability died, so this furniture sale is uber-local....

For sale in the next few days:
* One orange and green rattan living room set. Includes full-length sofa, two armchairs, and a glass-top table. Super comfy. Frame started brown, paint it whatever color you want; cushions are pink under the orange slipcovers. Set is very light and easy to move.

* One big, but not too big, desk with keyboard tray and shelves. Solid construction, hutch has bulletin board back. Turns out I mainly use a desk as a place to pile stuff...so it's in great condition!

* One free-standing Ikea wardrobe, with hanger bar + shelves. It's a metal frame and you can put a curtain in front. It is vaguely like this, but entirely black metal, with the shelves on the left. And it's prettier than this one, with little flanges on the rod, so there.

Leave a comment or PM me if you're interested. Thanks!
