377 Summer

Folks were asking about 377 Summer earlier on here.  I was at the ResiStat meeting and found out it's on track: 6 dwellings, I-beams are being installed, and the design review is ongoing.  Just for the curious.

Water bills

My building got the new water meters about 7 months ago, and (as expected) the next bill showed high usage to "true up" since we'd had estimated readings for the 2 years prior. However, this past bill (100% on the new water meters) shows usage higher than the previous bill (which was the "true up") for all units in the building (for me, it's more than 3 times what my usage was on the estimated bills). Does anybody else have this? Is this normal?

A huge thanks to all the knitters and crocheters who donated *unbelievably* beautiful handmade woolen goods to the Nave's annual Wrap Around fundraiser for the Somerville Homeless Coalition. The Nave was able to raise a whopping $500 for the Somerville Homeless Coalition. And, a big thanks to all who came to the Nave to buy these beautiful goods. Starting knitting now for next year's fundraiser! I'm working on a better cupcake recipe! Somerville rocks.
