Lost/Found Cat

For the past two nights on Cameron Avenue a very vocal kitty has been coming around my house.  It has a collar (perhaps just a flea collar).  Animal control is not available until the morning.  It seems to be lost and hungry.  Has anyone lost a kitty in this area?   It's heartbreaking to here this kitty meow all night long.  I can't let the kitty in, since I already have one.
