Eversave: $10 for $20 at McKinnon's

You haven't seen me in a while because well....most of the Somerville deals of late have sucked, or been uninspiring (if Brunello, Diva, or Yak & Yeti are offering a voucher, while, yeah, big surprise). And everyone looks at Groupon these days (I was interviewed by the Wall Street Journal on my voucher site use on Monday; they were just looking for someone who uses the sites a lot...I don't think they were expecting to find...me).

Today Eversave, though, is $10 for $20 of meat at McKinnon's. If you have never bought anything at Eversave before, you get $5 off your first purchase, making that $5 for $20, which is you know...good.

I've been helping my friend clean out his storage unit, which contained 3000 comics, all in plastic, and organized by storyline. I currently have about 700 in the back of my trunk; no idea what comics are in there, as I don't have any more room for comics in my house and don't want to tempt myself.

I do, however, want my trunk back, so here it is: if you want comics, whether for reading, collecting, kindling, or decoupage, you can have 'em. I'm located between Porter and Davis. Let me know if you're interested!

Room for Rent Ball Sq, Somerville....570+ util ASAP

  My roommate and I are looking for a third roommate for Sept 1 or sooner. The room is 570, utilities average about 60 a month and include cable and wireless internet. There is an eat in kitchen, an a large living/dining room. We've got a nice backyard with a cemented patio (and I'm gonna start a garden in one of the patches). Room can either be furnished or not. No pets. Coin op laundry in the basement and parking on the street (the landlord reimbursed me for my pass, and I never have a hard time finding a spot)

My roommate and I are professionals in our thirties. We're pretty laid back, and have a pretty chill friendly environment. I make dinner for a small group of friends most mondays before we play trivia at Johnny D's, people come over to watch movies every once in a while, and there is usually a bigger social gathering (often with rock band on my wii) every few months. Otherwise its pretty quiet around here. If you're looking for people to hang out with, that's great...if not, that's fine too.
