re-homing cat

We've been fostering a rescue kitty for a while, unfortunately we can not keep him. He's about 2 years old, tabby, snuggly, playful and gentle. He's very shy at first- he will hide from strangers- but once he trusts you, he's very sweet. He is great friends with our dog, and I'm sure he'd love a home with another laid-back animal companion. We do not want to bring him to a shelter, we will keep him until he finds a good home. If you are interested, or know someone who is looking to adopt a cat, let me know. I'll ask for a small rehoming fee as well as some proof of an animal friendly living situation just to ensure it's someone who really wants a pet.

Hi Folks!

My cat, Percy, is lost in the Somerville/Cambridge area. We live off of Beacon St. and he wandered away from our house yesterday. He's brown, striped, and very friendly! We miss him and want him to come home, so please keep an eye out for him! He is microchipped, so if you take him to a shelter they will be able to call me. Another lost cat -- FOUND! Now needs a new home

I swear, I was going to post before I saw the other cat posts!

One of my cats disappeared from our house on Glenwood Road (near Vernon Street) on Saturday night, after 7 or 7:30. She's a medium-to-smallish (9.25 pound) 6-year-old female, all black, no white markings at all, and was wearing a pink collar with red tag though it's a safety collar that may have pulled off. She does have a microchip.

UPDATE - my posters worked & she's home. But it's obvious she doesn't want to be here as she was on our street, just not coming home. The problem is she REALLY wants to be an only cat. She really is a sweetheart when she's comfortable with her situation. If you know anyone who might be interested let me know, and I'll take advantage of schmoozenkatte's advice 2 threads back.
