re-homing cat

We've been fostering a rescue kitty for a while, unfortunately we can not keep him. He's about 2 years old, tabby, snuggly, playful and gentle. He's very shy at first- he will hide from strangers- but once he trusts you, he's very sweet. He is great friends with our dog, and I'm sure he'd love a home with another laid-back animal companion. We do not want to bring him to a shelter, we will keep him until he finds a good home. If you are interested, or know someone who is looking to adopt a cat, let me know. I'll ask for a small rehoming fee as well as some proof of an animal friendly living situation just to ensure it's someone who really wants a pet.

you can contact Kitty Connection in Medford or Charles River Alleycats through their web pages. They are not shelters but they work to find homes for stray kitties. Charles River Alleycats also lets people post private adoptions on their website and can give guidance about assessing adopters.
