Good evening, DSLJ,

The Search: This is probably even more of a long shot than my typical questions here, but my block is having a block party next Saturday and were hoping to use a cider press to make cider (duh) from a neighbor's apple tree. Problem being, none of us has a cider press. Does anyone in the near-ish area have one that they would be willing to loan to some neighbors on the Cambridge side of Davis Square for the weekend? In exchange, I can offer many apples off the apple tree, as well as a loaf of homemade bread (wheat or white, your choice).

The selling: I have two very nice wool Pendleton pleated skirts that I have not worn once since my mother-in-law purchased them for me many many years ago. They are very nice, but apparently pleated wool skirts just aren't really my thing. One is shades of blue plaid, the other green/brown plaid. Both are size 10, petite. Both are longer style, they fall between my knee and ankle (i'm 5' 6" for reference). These skirts are silly expensive new, but I'd be happy to get $20 each for them (or $30 if you take both). I'm feeling too lazy to put a picture here, but I'd be more than happy to email you one if you send a PM.

Update: GONE! The Free: We have a nice wooden dinner chair with a wicker/caned seat. The caning has been torn/broken, though, and we are finding it silly expensive to repair (over $150!). If you know how to cane, or want to learn, or have any other reason why you would want a free, broken seated, wooden chair, it is free to a good home. (it's really too nice to just throw out with the trash, but don't really know what else to do with it). (this i can show you because my better half just put it up on craigslist: http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/zip/5231235039.html)

Thanks DSLJ
