Eat at Flatbread in Davis Square TONIGHT, Tuesday May 3rd to benefit the Save Our Homes Walk to Prevent Homelessness.

In addition to eating pizza, you can sign up to join the 5K Save Our Homes walk which will happen on May 22nd.  It is organized by the Somerville Affordable Housing Organizing Committee (AHOC). AHOC is an advocacy coalition comprised of Somerville residents and community organizations including Somerville Community Corporation (SCC), Community Action Agency of Somerville (CAAS), Cambridge and Somerville Legal Services (CSLS), and Somerville Homeless Coalition (SHC). Organized in 2001 by SCC, AHOC continues to pursue the vital mission of preserving affordable housing, increasing affordable housing opportunities, and stabilizing Somerville’s existing communities.

Someone was shot Sunday afternoon on Lowell St near Albion St

from Wicked Local Somerville: Boston man hospitalized after shooting on Lowell Street in Somerville.

It happened Sunday around 3:20 pm outside 228 Lowell Street. That was right in the middle of Somerville Open Studios, so there were probably lots of folks walking around. Did any of you see this happen?

I'm surprised that the police haven't made robo-calls (or, if they did, maybe I just live too far away). How sure are they that the shooter isn't still in our neighborhood?
