Somerville abandoned bike sale - tomorrow (Saturday) at former Powderhouse School

The city of Somerville has over 100 abandoned bikes, in a variety of conditions, that are being offered for sale.
When/where: Saturday, May 14, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the former Powderhouse Community School, 1060 Broadway

Ward 6 ResiStat meeting this Monday, May 16

It's time once again for Somerville's semi-annual ResiStat meetings, where city officials make a short presentation and then take comments and questions from the assembled residents.

The Ward 6 meeting will be this Monday, May 16, at Somerville Community Baptist Church, 31 College Ave. Pizza and refreshments start at 6 pm, followed by the meeting from 6:30 to 8 pm.

Found: ladies' wig near Powderhouse

I found a long-haired, two-tone wig lying on the sidewalk on Summit St this morning. While it'd be great for my Halloween costume this year, I'd like to return it to its rightful owner. Send me a note if it's yours, or if you know someone who lost a wig recently.
