My current roomie
ifotismeni will be moving out by May 1st - she's got an opportunity to save money, so of course she's going to take it.
This means that I will need a new roommate - if you need a new place to stay or you know anyone in the Boston area who will need a place come May, please contact me!
Quick blurb: I'm in the upstairs unit of a two-family house in East Arlington, near the Cambridge and Somerville border. The upstairs unit is a two bedroom. It's pretty convenient to public transit with quick access to the 77/87/88/89/79/350 bus lines and a 5-minute drive (or a 20-ish minute walk) to Davis Sq. It's a smoke-free and pet-free apartment with the landlady living downstairs (landlady happens to be my sister).
It's currently $600 per person per month. Utilities are not included, and can run anywhere from $60 to $200 a month each (the higher utilities bills are during the winter due to the heating bill - but insulation was just installed last week, so I have no idea what the heating bill will be like starting next winter). There's a washer/dryer in the basement and there's a driveway with a garage. The room to be rented out is about 12' by 13'.
If you have any questions, feel free to email me at countlibras at yahoo dot com.
