darts

does anyone know of a good place to play darts? i don't think i've ever noticed any boards set up in the bars i've been to (maybe only khoury's in e. somerville?). thanks in advance.

Not in Somerville, but the People's Republic on Mass Ave on the Harvard side of Central Square has multiple boards and some serious players. The Somerville bars that I've gone to haven't been dartful.

Warning -- their house darts SUCK. Definitely bring your own, unless you really, really want to ensure the safety of bystanders.

There's not much in Somerville (used to be one in Ball Square, but it closed).

Joe Sent Me.. has boards and is off Mass Ave near Davis.

In the Harvard area, you have People's, Unos, and a single board at Whitneys.

Allston is where the boards are. There's at least a half dozen places within a walk of each other.

I wish there was a decent dart bar in Somerville. Throwing at home just isn't the same!

i believe the thirsty scholar (on beacon, near inman square) has a dart board. i was just there last night and thought i saw one near the entrance...
