Transportation and Public Spaces

sprout spaghetti dinners is a dinner theater series seeking to bring people from the Somerville and Cambridge communities together around good food, good music, and good performance. Each month, we'll find an eclectic group of performers to explore the month's theme through different lenses. In the tradition of dinners hosted by NYC-based theater company Great Small Works, we want to cast new light on common ideas from artistic, musical, and scientific perspectives. The theme for this month's dinner is Transportation and Public Space. It will be happening just outside of Davis Square at sprout (339R Summer St.) on Wednesday April 7 with dinner at 7:30pm and performances beginning at 8. A $10 suggested donation will help us cover expenses.

Our performers will include ::

- Members of SCUL (http://scul.org) will be parading in on their bicycles and talking a little about their community rides and performances.

- Jeff Rosenblum from Livable Streets (http://livablestreets.info/) will be talking about Street Design: Dirty Little Engineering Secrets Revealed.

- Kanarinka will be sharing her performances and installations "mapping" Boston's evacuation routes in human breaths (http://bit.ly/cnAqnk).

- Molly Allis, a local artist and musician, will show an animated music video called Seahorse about a girl who goes on a whimsical journey through city, sky, and sea.

We'd also like to thank Dave Morgan from The Groundswell Collective (http://www.groundswellcollective.com/) for all his work organizing this event.

Also, when I tried to e-mail you about this, using the address
spaghetti-admin@thesprouts.org that you posted here, my message bounced with this error. (I don't understand why I'm getting an error bounce from Google, when I didn't send my message to Google.)
