Hi everyone! Best Bees Company is a new service in the greater Boston and Cape Cod area that provides and manages honey bee hives for gardeners and property owners in urban, suburban, and rural habitats. As pollinators, honey bees improve the yield and quality of a huge number of fruit and vegetable crops. The local honey and beeswax are added perks! We don't use any chemicals and so practice a form of organic farming. A major portion of the proceeds goes to funding research and development of technologies improving honey bee health. If you would like a honey bee hive of your own, please shoot an email to noah@bestbees.com for more info!

....this is like, my dream come true. Now I just need to find an apartment/home with a backyard that would allow me to have a honey bee hive set up.

These folks might benefit from your services. Can you capture and relocate bees?

This is awesome! Keep up the good work, and for those who set up hives, please sell your honey here. I'll buy some!

This is so cool. :-) Since you have this LiveJournal account, you should post updates now and then about when honey is available and other bee & honey news. I just added you to my friends list in hopes that you'll do that. Keep on buzzin'!

This is such an excellent idea. Admittedly, I first wanted to put a beehive in our backyard, more to get even with our annoying neighbors than to collect honey. But as time went on, I was more and more interested, but always afraid. This is a brilliant service, and I wish you luck. I would certainly look into the service, if I was not moving to the New York City area for a job in a week.

money....

The http://www.bestbees.com/ web site doesn't seem to offer any hints as to pricing. I understand if you don't want to list specific prices online, but it'd be nice to give an order-of-magnitude kind of thing for the uninitiated.

I read about Best Bees in one of those free magazines. They said it was around $975 for the one hive option.
