Hello everybody,

My roommate has decided to move out in July, so I need somebody to take his place. It's a 2 bedroom apartment in an apartment building. $1700 a month including heat and hot water. We each pay $850. Less than 5 minutes away from Davis Square and the Red Line and busses. The apartment building has a really great on call 24 hour emergency staff personnel if anything comes up (ie: leaks, broken doors, etc). I prefer a female, but just as long as you're professional, fun loving, and mature and has a full time job and is queer friendly. Hope to hear from you ASAP!

I NEED TO KNOW MAY 1ST!!!

Who doesn't love fun?

Seriously, are there people who are not "fun loving" out there?

LOL. By definition, don't people love to do what they have fun doing? I'm not sure what the OP's definition of fun is, though... :)

The OP didn't ask for people who love what they have fun doing, she ask for people who love fun. I love a lot of things, but "fun" wouldn't leap to mind as one of them. It's vaguely nice I suppose, but I generally can't be bothered to cross the street for it.

I'm not sure what the OP's definition of fun is, though...

I think it almost doesn't matter. Whatever it is, it's clearly something she prioritizes highly enough among her other values for roommates that she troubled to list it. We can plausibly take for granted that any character qualification appearing in a roommate-wanted ad was the result of experience, direct or vicarious, with some schmuck who lacked it. For instance, "mature" conventionally means, "does not leave dishes in sink in perpetuity and pays rent ontime without whining like the last guy". We can only surmise what the person who lacked "fun-loving" was like, but clearly they didn't prioritize having "fun" highly enough for the OP. Since I would never be accused of prioritizing "fun", however defined, more highly than approximately anything, I know I'm not in the sought demographic. :}

Hmmm, I work most of the time. And I have fun working. Therefore, I'm a fun loving person! :-] But I agree, I don't think that was the intended meaning.
Perhaps the OP meant "easy going" or something like that...
