meetup reminder + important info

This is the 1 week reminder post to let you know that we are having a meetup on Tuesday the 25th at the Burren. We normally meet at 7pm in the back room, but I found out that the Mayor is having a party in the back room from 6pm till 8pm. For this month, we will meet in the front room at 7pm and can move to the back room when it opens up (a little past 8pm).

The Mayor is crashing our party.

This isn't the first time that the mayor has came to one of our meetups and didn't know it. He once showed up with 4 members of an Italian Celtic band at PJ Ryans.

Sadly, 8pm isn't 8pm when the show starts and you can't talk to anyone in the back room? Well, you can talk, but nobody will hear anything.

I'm happy staying in the front room if that would be quieter (although space is limited and we might not all be at tables).

The sound is usually hit or miss. Sometimes it isn't that bad and you can definitely talk, other times it is loud.
