I take it you have no actual experience yourself? Did your source say why they recommended them?

my source is my officemate, i'll ask him :) he has been using them to do his taxes and investment planning for 10 or 15 years, and back when he was self-employed he used them to do his business accounting.

he hasn't had any complaints about them or any problems resulting from their work.
