I was just in Spün, and apparently, they have actual, regular hours now. I spoke with the guy behind the counter, and he let me know that the guy who owns it just didn't have enough time, so he partnered with him, and now it's open regularly. Here's a photo of the hours sign.

I drove by last night and noticed they were open. Might be worth checking out!

The "under new management" helps a bit, but they've had a sign saying noon to 10pm for a while and simply didn't stick to it.

I have to wonder, was this a for real business or just someone's hobby?

I went several times when it first opened and thought it was good. If I see that they consistently follow their posted hours for several weeks, I will give it a try again. For now, I'm staying away . . . I can't trust that a place that isn't open during their posted hours (and doesn't change its sign accordingly) is going to keep its yogurt machines clean.

So what do I get if they don't meet their guarantee?

Are the topping covered yet? I really wanted to like this place, and was almost completely put off by the non-honored hours, but still went in the other week. I decided the final straw was the uncovered fruit toppings, complete with open back door and a visible fruit fly problem. It's a shame, because it's a block from my house, and I love me some fro-yo. I'm sticking to driving all the way to Berry Line unless someone tells me something new.

i've never been to any of these new fruit/yogurt places but, why do they have to be covered?

i can see if there's a fruit fly problem they should change that obviously, but if there wasn't, would you feel the same? i'm just curious what the difference is since there are tons of places with salad bar type things with uncovered fruit & veggies that are just fine (imo).

I was pretty sure this place had gone/ was going out of business when I didn't see the blinds open for about... three weeks straight. The promotions painted on the windows ("We have Wii tournaments!") seemed a tad out of place, too.
