Curb alert - free baby gate

Gone!

We just put an Evenflo Secure Step Top of Stair Gate outside 4 Chester St (same street Redbones is on, other end, near Mass Ave). This is the kind that screws into the wall for extra security. It has all the little bits of hardware with it.

You should take that to the Goodwill; you aren't that far away from it, and it's not that heavy.

I've actually found two baby gates there. It's a much better thing to do than to leave it out on the street and post it on the internet.

This is one of those "god, we haven't gotten around to craigslisting or goodwilling this in for*ev*er, I'm just putting it on the curb already" things. Yes, it would have been better to craigslist or goodwill it. But there it is, or was. You are (or would have been, I don't know if it's still there) welcome to pick it up and take it to Goodwill.

There are certain individuals here who will pound and rail that you must take things to Goodwill -- nigh on insinuate that you're a bad and selfish person if you don't. But never will you hear those individuals say "Hey, I have a car, I'll take the items to Goodwill for you." Nor even "I'm passing by there on foot while you're at work. I'll grab it and take it to Goodwill for you." As far as these certain people are concerned (and lets face it, I really only mean one person), it's your body, their choice.

I'm glad you did what worked for you with the baby gate, and I hope whoever took it enjoys it. :-)
