Theatre@First is proud to announce A Language of Their Own by Chay Yew
as the next project for Bare Bones: Staged Readings at Theatre@First.
Directed by Judy Yen, A Language of Their Own explores love and
communication within the Asian-American gay community.
Auditions will be held on July 19-20. Theatre@First is specifically
seeking Asian and Asian-American men for this show, but some roles may
be cross-cast and all are welcome to audition. Visit our website for more

Bare Bones: Staged Readings at Theatre@First is in its first year,
offering casts and audiences the chance to experience a wide variety
of plays in the spare, intense setting of a staged reading.
Performances are free, with a suggested donation of $5. Please visit

The mission of Theatre@First is to work together to provide a fun,
friendly, and creative theater experience for cast, crew, and audience
alike. We welcome volunteers at all levels of experience, without
