According to the city's website, the snow emergency is still in effect until 6am Tuesday morning.

Just a reminder to clean off your car so the city doesn't ticket and/or tow it. I am going to look into this situation a bit and see what can be done to change it. I travel for my job and it would suck to come home after a storm and find my car is gone, and really, if a vehicle is parked legally, this shouldn't be a problem.

I believe the 48 hours rule is intended to prevent abandoned cars. Though honestly, a week would cover that need just fine. Lots of Somervuddlians don't drive more than once a week.

I agree. What's really fucked about this whole thing is that we are constantly told that we should take the T. Let's take the not-so-wild example of someone who has to work 2 jobs to be able to pay the rents here in Somerville. When will they have time to shovel?
