Can anybody recommend an interior designer or architect who takes smallish residential projects? We eventually want to make some significant changes to our house such as adding a second bathroom.

We're unlikely to do all the work at once but we would like to make sure that the smaller projects we do are in line with a longer-term plan. So we'd like somebody who is willing to work with us on that basis.

Any recommendations, anti-recommendations, or experiences you're willing to share are appreciated!
