anyone here familiar which tufts courses/professors are known to be good? i'm searching through the catalogue for an interesting one to audit, but i know how much a good professor/course outline can make a difference- and since i'm taking this for fun, i want it to be fun.

a couple that immediately caught my eye were EXP 42S Black Power: Civil Rights by George Davis and ENG 192G Fem. Lit Theory by Leci Rosenthal.

suggestions also welcome.. but they have to be held in the evening.

That's kind of a broad question! Perhaps if you narrowed it down to the particulars (like the classes above) the responses might be more useful. No use tooting the merits of bio professors if you have no intent on exploring biology, say.

I would pose this question in [livejournal.com profile] tttufts. And include more specifics on subjects you'd like/not like. If you're at all interested in classics I can give you some suggestions (my MA in classics is from Tufts), but I know nothing about the English/sociology/theory axis.

You could also look up profs for courses that sound interesting on ratemyprofessor.com.
