Hi All,

I found a bicycle in Davis Sq, across the street from the Goodwill on Wednesday evening. It was there, leaning partially against a lightpole with the rear wheel (flat) partially in the street at 6:30. When I came back by at 9 pm or so, it was still there, so I checked in the pizza place to make sure it didn't belong to anyone there and then decided to take it home and post here and Craigslist looking for the owner. My guess is that a thief stole it and when it got a flat, ditched it on the side of the road.

This is an unusual style of bike, not a standard road or mtb frame. If you lost a bike in the last couple of days, and can describe it sufficiently well to convince me this one is yours, please send a message to me and we'll set up a time for you to come pick it up.

If you don't have any immediate takers you could search the serial on the Stolen Bicycle Registry. (http://www.stolenbicycleregistry.com/)

And if that doesn't work after a few days, it might be time to turn it over to the police.

I'd also suggest putting up a sign where you found it. Not everyone reads DSLJ and Craigslist.

An acquaintance had a silver Schwinn with a black rear rack stolen on the 18th. If that's a warm description, I can have him contact you with more specific details.
