Re free mattress post earlier

I was supposed to pick up the mattress yesterday and all hell broke lose to try to stop me. Long story short, I cannot pick up the mattress due to circumstances beyond my control. It is still at the address listed, on their front porch. I did see it, and it looked like a perfectly fine mattress and box spring. It has a taped sign that says it has been taken. But if someone else wants to go and get it, please do!

In that case, I suggest that you remove the 'Taken' sign from it.

Unfortunately, the same circumstances which prevent me from picking up the mattress also prevent me from going out to where the mattress is to remove the sign :(

Rather than asking us about the mattress, why not contact the person that posted it? And rather than posting a new thread, why not respond to the thread about the mattress so the original poster wil see it and possibly give you some input?

I'm just wondering the thought process here...

Well, I did send an email this morning to the person who posted originally, but they have not responded yet. I didn't want to just reply to the original thread, because I didn't think anyone would check there and notice it.
