wandering iguana

There's a large iguana wandering around Irving and Wallace Streets. If it is yours (or if you know who it belongs to), you may want to contact Animal Control. It's currently up in a tree, although earlier it was wandering around driveways and making some neighbors wonder if they were hallucinating. At least it's not a coyote.
It sounds as if this iguana has escaped before, or at least wasn't recovered.

You should call Animal Control yourself and report that you've seen it.

Or the Animal Rescue League (http://www.arlboston.org/site/PageServer?pagename=about_contact_us), since that's who seems to have been looking for it back in July.

Neighbors who are on the street have already reported it and are working with them (and I believe Animal Control is already on-site), so the issue is ensuring that it makes it back to its home.
