i'm looking for recommendations on local craft jewelers (e.g. the kinds of folks who tend to be at ArtBeat). i have a very small item i'd like to commission, but it's been a few years since i went to ArtBeat so i don't know who to go to.

I've never had anything done myself, but I think all of his samples are beautiful. Maybe worth an inquiry, at least!

Date: 2010-09-23 01:21 am (UTC)If you are willing to take a jaunt out to the 'burbs, come out to the Western Avenue Studios (http://www.westernavenuestudios.com/) in Lowell. There are over 200 working artists, and at least 4 metalsmithing jewelers I can think of off the top of my head.
Sometimes the web page for an art or craft show will leave the vendor list up for a while, so you can go back and check out who was there.
