is coming soon to the former Poor Little Rich Girl space, according to a sign posted in the window. We last had this store in Davis Square in 2006.

I don't know, I just hate how those stores pop up everywhere where they can't seem to rent a place.

I like to support locals, so I will just go to The Garment District (early before the madness starts over there).

Halloween Scream *is* local. I worked there part time a few years ago to finance a big Halloween party, and I knew the owner. Very nice guy.

I'd much rather have a temporary store (or, even better, a series of them for various occasions) than a large vacancy that persists for months or years.

I generally agree, but I also view these shops as a sort of sign that the neighborhood is having serious problems.

Though, we are all technically having problems so it's OK :)

There's one or something similar going up in the Pearl Arts & Craft space if Central as well, which presents a very interestingly large space.
