Found cat -- grey, very friendly, on Orchard

Found a cat near Orchard and Day who seemed to be indoorsy -- freaked out, lost-looking and very very human-friendly.

Grey, very fluffy.  Collar with a small bell, and a rabies vaccination tag, but no other information.

My friend took him/her in for the night, and will call the MSPCA number on the tag, but thought I'd post to see if anyone might know the owner.

Microchip?

Many cats especially if adopted from MSPCA will have a microchip. They are typically placed in the shoulder blade area. You can try to feel for a little lump the size of a rice grain. If you don't know how to look for it, bring it to a vet, they'll be able to tell if it has a microchip and scan it if it does.

a couple grey microchipped kitties have been reported lost in the area lately... you could call HomeAgain at 1-888-466-3242 and inquire after Mojo (ID# 985121005516652) or Henry (ID# 985121002402346) or Sandy (ID# 4B02791003). Or if you take him/her to a vet that can scan the chip. Good luck!

I live on Day and my neighbors have a big indoor/outdoor cat named Moonshadow. He's dark gray, fluffy, and has a bell on his collar. I don't know if he's missing, I'll keep an eye out.
