Oktoberfest this Sunday in Davis Square

There will be an Oktoberfest with 'Bratwurst, Beer & Mad Bavarian Brass Band' this Sunday, at Elm and Chester Streets. The event is sponsored jointly by Redbones, the Burren, Diva, Joshua Tree, Foundry on Elm, and Mike's.

I stumbled on this semi-accidentally and thought it was awesome. If this was on a Saturday, it could have been a much much larger event (though maybe rowdiness would be more of an issue). Now craving more of Redbones' latkes.

Just wondering -- why would it be bigger on a Saturday? (Harvard Square's Oktoberfest is also on a Sunday, this coming weekend.)
