Hi everyone,
We have a project night at sprout every week on Thursday, but I thought I'd take this opportunity to post about a particularly full evening we're hosting tomorrow!
We'll cook some food, and please feel free to come and add your own! Tonight, a lot of the people facilitating our fall programs <http://thesprouts.org/programs> will also be around for you to ask questions of and chat with. We hope to see you there!
Mika Matsuzaki is starting to design and run a nutrition program in a local prison. As a part of this, she wants to create a piece of software to allow prisoners to do internal research (i.e. no Internet) about the nutritional values of their food. If any aspect of this project interests you, come talk and brainstorm with Mika. If you can't come but would like to hear more, let me know at <shaunalynn@thesprouts.org> and I can put you in touch.
We're building a 12 foot tall walking machine for the HONK! Parade. Time is running out and we are going to be working tomorrow night (and almost all day tomorrow) to finish this guy up. Come by to check it out or to lend a hand!
Let me know if you have any questions!
