My husband found a Charlie Card in a pile of leaves. He checked it @ Davis T, and there is still some money left on it-- not just a few dollars... enough so that it'd be worth trying to find the rightful owner. I'd post it here, but what are the chances that the person who lost it is part of this LJ community? Should I email the MBTA? Post on craigslist? Is there a e-community bulletin @ Tufts?
(What should I tag this as, anyway? 'mbta' isn't quite right.)

Date: 2010-10-19 04:48 pm (UTC)If the registered user reports it lost, the MBTA will make it stop working and transfer its value to a new card.
My suggestion: give it to the Somerville Homeless Coalition, who are in the basement of the CVS/Boston Sports Club building in Davis Square.
automatically?
