How small? Try this www.davetasnowplowing.com

If its a three unit condo they might pass, (a driveway) but its worth a shot.

Be sure you're certain about the terms of the agreement. I had a very bad experience with a landscaping company in Medford that charged exponentially for the amount of snow removal, based upon some published amount of inches (I could never figure out where they got that number). For example it was something like: 1 inch or less of snow = $N, 1-3 inches = $2*N, 3-5 inches = $3.5*N, 5-8 inches = 7*N, etc. So for my driveway, 1-3 inches was about $35.00, but once a foot deep dump, where I had shovelled away about 8 inches, they charged me for a foot anyway, and one swipe with their snow plow caused a $500.00 charge on my bill. Another deep dump of about 18 inches of snow was another $800.00 FOR ONE PLOWING. They come back after a few hours, and charged me even more for the second plowing in 6 hours, too!

I ended up buying a snowblower and couldn't be happier.

I think this is the one we use, we are a 2 unit association and our neighbors use the same company too (two other buildings not affiliated)

They are reliable, sometimes after a heavy snowstorm tho if we did not want to wait for ALL the snow to stop we might have had to unearth the car ourselves.

I'm a landlord in Somerville and I have some customers that I include in my snow removal rounds for my properties. Generally I charge $50 per visit for a normal house with a single driveway. Ends up being $50 or $100 depending on storm duration, unless the property owner wants more visits.

Hi there!

I was searching the Davis Square LJ community for snow removal help, and I'm wondering if you'd be available to help me out? I'm living in a single family house near Davis Square, and we are responsible for shoveling our sidewalk. For the most part, the five of us grad students have this covered - except when we're out of town. So I'm looking for some reasonably priced help, wherein we can be sure we're fulfilling our shoveling obligations over Thanksgiving and the Christmas holiday...
