Unreal, surreal playwright Christopher Durang brings you a night of short plays that find the "Dramamine in drama." Durang's absurd irreverant looks at theatre and literature will keep you laughing long and loud. Last weekend's performances went very well indeed, and there are five more performances that promise to be awesome:

Wed Dec 8 through Sat Dec 11 at 8 pm
Sunday Dec 12 at 2 pm

It's at the Durrell Theater at the Central Square Y, 820 Mass Ave, Cambridge, and features such Davis Square Denizens as Jenny Gutbezahl, Silas Lohrenz, and Mike Budwey (OK, Mike lives in Porter, but that's nearby, right?)

Tix are $15 if you order online in advance, and $20 at the door. But tomorrow is Pay-What-You-Can, a boon for all you starving artists out there. ETA: You can reserve a ticket for PWYC. Click the BUY NOW button. When you get the calendar page, it looks like Wednesday costs $15, same as the other days, but if you click on "Order" you'll see that the cost is actually $0.00. You pay at the door. Suggested donation is $10, but if that's a hardship (which it is for a lot of people in these times), nobody will judge you if you pay less. We will only judge you if you're wearing white, because it is WAY after Labor Day. Don't you have any sense of style at all?!?!

Is there a way to reserve a ticket for pay-what-you-can night? If I go to the "Buy Now!" link, it charges me the full $15.

I second this suggestion, and not just because one of my compositions is used as entr'acte music >;-) I went last week and found it very well done.

I'm between acts 2 and 3, after the Tennessee Williams satire. FYI if you hear a piece you like, there is a poster in the lobby listing whose music occurs where.

Argh. Want to see this, busy all those times. Ok, will try to figure out what I can miss (which means I *really* *really* want to go...do you know what time it ends?

It should end about 10:15 or 10:20.

Thank you. Sorry to have missed this, I got confused and thought PWYC night was Thursday (read the email today and thought it was written today, my bad).

I think they might still be looking for help with selling concessions, which will get you in for free! Email info@badhabitproductions.org. :)

I went to the website and it does seems to want to charge you $15. I am connected with the theatre, and there should be no problem with available seats. Just make sure to arrive early enough to get a good seat, since it's general admission!
