grocery bag recycling

My roommate and I can't use our stockpiled plastic grocery bags fast enough and are drowning. Does anyone know somewhere I can take them for recycling? I know the Star Market in Porter Square used to have a recycling area just for bags. However, rumor now has it they don't anymore...?

where is their bin? It's not in the recycling area.

I know the Star Market on Beacon had one the last time I was there.

Yeah the Star on Beacon street does have one. It's near the can and bottles machines.

I'll take them! We use canvas for shopping and plastic for cat little. Thus we are always short plastic.

The Star/Shaws in Porter still has them, one at each entrance, I think, but definitely at the one on the right side.

The Stop & Shop on Rte 28 between Winter Hill and Sullivan Square has a collection thing in the entry on the left side.

Don't all rush there at once, but the Libraries have taken them from me to help folks carry out thier books.
