I wrote a letter last night (
blog|
lj repost) explaining in a slightly tongue in cheek fashion how I've wanted to work at Foundry on Elm (especially at the cocktail lounge that's been mentioned as coming in the future) for a while.
Even if I'm not a fit for the place, it was fun to write ;-)

Date: 2011-01-09 06:22 am (UTC)you aren't the first person to go there. I think at least in part because I got online for the first time at 13, in 1984: were 3 girls in my computer class of 25 kids; I was 'the girl' in my electronics class. I don't know if it was nature (tomboyish anyway) or nurture (everyone else spoke that way online), but I get that a lot. Naming the blog 'Adventures of a Freelance Murray Slaughter' didn't help (it's actually an MST3K line).
