Exactly. I haven't been keeping up with the reports, and this morning with my radio declaring X inches of snow when it was clearly, clearly raining out there (and continued to so until, oh a few minutes ago), I did have doubts.
But yeah, it does seem to be snowinow a bit now, so, why, why, why bother lifting a declared emergency. I mean leaving it in place for the day doesn't really hurt once it's already been declared.
i don't think anyone on my street has been either towed or ticketed all year. this whole snow emergency thing is absurd. (who the hell calls it at 11:30 on a FRIDAY NIGHT?) no one's going to listen next time.
