Not sure if anyone else was surprised to see lower Willow closed today between Elm and Highland, but I think they are working on the intersection at Summer. If they are putting in a raised crossing it will be a few days before it is done.

Sorry I don't have more data, I never got a robocall about this one.

I didn't know about the Summer closing yesterday. All the streets leading back to Summer were one-way before my destination so I had to walk my bike up a one-way. Why are there like 5 one-ways in a row from Summer to Elm by Porter?

I got a robocall and an email about this on April 30th. Perhaps they only contacted people who live within a block or two? Here is the text:


This is Carlene Campbell from the City of Somerville with important information regarding construction in your neighborhood. Weather permitting Monday, May 2nd- Saturday, May 7th, raised cross walks will be installed at the intersection of Willow Avenue and Summer Street. Work will be conducted during the hours of 7:00 am – 4:00 pm however no vehicular traffic will be allowed through this intersection at anytime until the project is completed. Driveway access will be available for residents in the affected areas. Please adhere to all posted detours, no parking signs and flashing message Boards. For more information, please call 311. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this important community improvement program.
