Without, according to previous posts about the show the audition notice: "Alan and Jill engage in a PG-rated makeout session; this production will not involve full nudity."

Ron is correct. But with our greater saavy and the exposure we all experience in so many forms of media lately, compared to the 1970's when it was first staged, the nudity just wouldn't have so much impact for viewers. Certainly, the venue in a church is a factor, but it just isn't as critical today.

I and we do certainly also see that side, and we knew there would be varying views on it. But to add, I, personally, having watched several versions of Equus now, genuinely don't find my experience of this play lessened when it's not there.
