Shabbat dinner and class: The Problem with Kicking People Out -rsvp deadline June 17!
Shabbat programming
- Friday June 24, 2011
7:00 p.m.
Join us for services and a dairy/vegetarian Shabbat dinner followed by the class The Problem with Kicking People Out by Gary Bean. We regularly provide dairy-free and gluten-free options at dinner. But if you have specific food needs, let us know asap. Services at Havurat Shalom are egalitarian, lay-led and usually involve a lot of singing.
Registration deadline: June 17, 2011. Dinner and the class are free, but you must register by June 17! RSVP to registrar@thehav.org or 617-623-3376.
All groups have boundaries. The boundaries of the Jewish people have been redefined many times in our history. What are legitimate and illegitimate ways of defining these boundaries? If you think this is a simple issue, you definitely need to come.
