i'm looking for an apartment and have seen some listings where heat is included in the rent but it's oil heat, while the oven/stove is gas. (and not included.) my current place has gas heat and i have no idea how to budget for oil. do any of you have oil heat and a gas stove, and if so, what's your gas bill like?

is this something i should be wary of as a renter, or does it not make any difference how my prospective apartment is heated? (i've lived with forced-steam radiators since i moved to camberville fourteen years ago.)
