Free iced coffee day has returned to Au Bon Pain on June 21st, 2 - 6 pm:

I just got back from there. The supposedly iced coffee was lukewarm! I had to dump lots of ice cubes into it to cool it down. That's not really what I want to have to do when I ask for iced coffee.

I had an early shift and hit the one in downtown Boston....across the street was a sign advertising free ferry trips and admission to Georges and Spectacle Island. I brought my iced coffee onboard and sat on the top deck...
I swear I could hear my Irish Grandmother doing a happy jig in heaven.

Not to look a gift horse in the mouth, but every time I've gone to the Davis Au Bon Pain, there's been something wacky with their beverages. One time they had no lids, one time they had no ice. Another time, no straws. Last time they were out of cups. So when I saw the FREE ICED COFFEE day, I just chuckled.
