Aroma Cafe closed, 3LittleFigs replacing it

Aroma Cafe (formerly Cafe Rossini and Cafe Lola), on Highland Avenue near Cedar Street, has closed. A sign on the door announces that 3LittleFigs: Tasty Bakin' is "Coming in September 2011".

Before today, I had never heard of a Greek frappe, and I'm still not sure what it is.

Roughly, in a blender take sugar, ice, instant coffee/espresso, crush. Add water, froth, pour out half into glass(es). Froth some more. Pour out the rest in glasses.

In my house, I rinse the blender with milk, add that through the froth and top the glasses with cinnamon sugar, but that's not Greek.

ZOMG they make some AMAZING loafcakes. The cocoa zucchini is one of the best chocolatey cakes I've ever had.

I'm not in that neighborhood but unlike the previous offerings in that space this one sounds worth heading over there just to go there!
