a totally valid point (and those are some eager breasts you apparently have!). Mostly my point was that in emergency situations, all but the most strident breastfeeders need a little help, simply since modern life means we've got things to do (one post partum DSLJer was out of the hospital a full 2 days when she was back in the ER again, and had to leave the 5 day-old baby with the visiting grandma for the 5 hour trip). Having a little supplemental feed is a good idea.

If you keep producing prodigiously (ok, I love that phrase), you might also want to look into the breast milk banks, and help another mom out.
