My roommate is moving out, so we need to find someone to take over her portion of the lease (until March 31, 2003).

Here's copy from her post on bostonapartments.com:

Comments: This place is great, but roommate needs to leave due to work/ significant other. Large, eat-in kitchen with dishwasher and new cabinets, hardwood floors, washer and dryer, nice livingroom. The bedroom is a good size with medium closet and gets alot of sunlight (also comes with shades if you want them). The backyard is good for bbq's or getting some sun. The apartment is about a 10 minute walk from porter or davis square, it's across the street from a baseball field and next-door to tennis and basketball courts. It's quiet and relaxing, but close to the T and to the happenings in porter and davis square.

I am the roommate that will be staying. Have been in this apt since April 2001 and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. The landlord is truly fabulous. And the neighborhood is delightful. There is a cat living in the apt. He's very furry, but doesn't shed much and is the most mellow easy-going cat you'll ever meet. (Unfortunately, we can't accept more pets, Gizmo was a one-time exception.) Sorry, no students/smokers/hard-core-partyers please.

Help!

Does anyone out there have a few minutes to tell me his/her thoughts on Davis Square. I have to write a paper on the Davis Square community, and I was wondering if anyone could email me or post a few thoughts on the area, it's issues, or general feelings.

Thanks......tobeygeller@hotmail.com
