davis_squareIn preparation for the Somerville Bicycle Committee's Tour de Somerville on October 15, "Arts in the 'Ville", I made a map of all locations I know of in Somerville that are involved in producing, exhibiting, or performing art (other than private homes):

The symbols on my map:
Blue balloon - Artist work space; most also have some public events such as Open Studios
Red balloon - Live music venue
Green balloon - Anything else, especially exhibition and performance spaces, retail stores, or places that offer classes
Red pushpin - Recording studio
Purple balloon - Disused theatre
The distinction between blue and green balloon is pretty arbitrary on my part, and won't really matter in the end once this turns into a bike route.
I'm sure I've made some errors and have missed some venues. Can you help me refine it? When it's finished, I hope to turn it over to the Somerville Arts Council for future maintenance.
