As some may be aware, cyclists on the sidewalk annoy the hell out of me, but I've noticed as bike lanes are put in, that drops to pretty much zero (unless the cyclist in question is some guy on a BMX three sizes too small for him that he pedals at walking speed, for some reason).

Anyway, as people who block bike lanes also inevitably block bus stops and curb cuts, I heartily approve of this site and plan to make use of it if I see a violation.

Do these notifications go to the Somerville police or Traffic & Parking departments?

It looks like nobody has used this service in Somerville since last October.

Most or all of the reports are in front of Maaco on Somerville Ave. eastbound, which I've also noticed to be a trouble spot.

MAACO is 0.6 miles from the Washington St. police department, so I'm going to go with "no, no one looks at this."

On the other hand, S'ville is pretty responsive to suggestions to dropping a dime to 311 asking them to have the police enforce the bike-lane restrictions and mention that it's in front of the freakin' police department, might just help.

If it's supposed to be anonymous, wtf does it require creating an account? #petpeeve
