Update me on women's nights?

Okay, so last year I went to Toast, which was fine. And then work piled up on my head and there seems to be a whole different set of things going on now. Toastboston became Tribe, and moved. And now Toast has a different women's night and I am all confused. Can someone clarify the state of affairs for me? Partisan weigh-ins welcome. I'm curious what the vibe is at each for when I have time to go out again. General listings of places for women and/ or multiple genders of people to dance, and or hang also welcome. Just call me 100% out of the loop.

i'm not completely "in" the scene, but from what i gather it's:

thurs: tribe (it's held at felt, which is nice, they have an upstairs dance floor which i like better than toast's, and downstairs lounge/pool area)
they're still having toast but with a different promoter. haven't been back since it changed

fri: toast playing retro/80s. a nice change to the usual pop/hip hop

sat: candy shop? haven't been
hollywood is gone, but they are trying to combine with buzz. also haven't been

i agree, things are confusing. i guess we just can't cout on having something stable and consistent in our lifes.... le sigh.

Egads! A confusing situation made more confusing. i've never heard of candy shop... My kingdom (queendom?) to whoever makes the definitive dyke nightlife guide to boston and surrounding environs!
